Democrats believe in investment for the common good, protection from harm, and equality, constitutional rights, and empowerment for all.
For example, we invest our resources for the common good. Shared resources that we all invest in to benefit us include:
- National defense
- Bridges, roads, ports, airports
- Public schools, universities
- Public health
- National monuments, parks
- Public safety: fire, police, courts

There are many ways to volunteer with the Comal County Democrats – even during a pandemic! We’ve learned to retool and re-invent activism and engagement. From phone-banking and texting, to organizing neighborhood virtual meet-ups, and helping organize postcard writing parties and fundraising events.
